At our traditional Christmas Concert at Hugglescote Parish Church on Saturday 19th December 2009, we welcomed, for the first time, the LEICESTERSHIRE CO-OPERATIVE (SNIBSTON) BRASS BAND and everyone who came seemed to enjoy the mix of brass and voices.

Broom Leys Choral Society is seeking a musically knowledgeable, energetic and enthusiastic Musical Director, to start in early 2011.
The vacancy is created by the retirement of our current Musical Director, who has been our leader for the last 27 years.
Details of the Society can be found on this web site, but, to summarise, Broom Leys Choral Society is a long-standing, friendly mixed voice choir of about 70 members. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings, from 7.00pm until 9.00pm, in Whitwick, near Coalville, Leicestershire. (See location map here.)
