We are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Musical Director, Motje Wolf. Please see the News/Concerts page for more details.
We are very sad to announce the death of our Chairman, Alan Ratcliffe.
Alan had been a choir member for over forty years, and Chairman for over twenty years, and will be greatly missed by all members of the society.
Alan’s funeral was held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Coalville on Monday 20th October, where the full church was a testament to Alan’s regard in the community. There was a moving tribute to his life from his family, and members of Broom Leys Choral Society sang one of Alan’s favourite pieces - ‘Sing Me A Song of Sharon’s Rose’.
